I see that Ben in the under 14s had the misfortune to be ranked 21 out of 39 starters and had to play the top ranked player who was graded (elo 2071) – 183 bcf – not bad for a 13 year old……
Similarly Toby in the under 12s had to play the second highest rated (elo 1807) – 148 bcf and only lost due to an error in what looked to me like a dead drawn endgame
Lucian in the under 10s also had a tough start against the 6th highest rated (elo 1536) – 112 bcf
