With the Bedfordshire League season drawing to a close, it’s time to look at what’s happening in our own club competitions. (and in some cases play some games!)
With only 13 games still to play in Division 1, the title looks to be a three horse race between Marc, Richard and Steve Ledger but others still have a chance to run them close.
With 50% possibly required to avoid the drop, relegation still looms large for many!
With only six (although we hope it will soon be seven Nigel) active players in division 2, Richard and Robert look well placed but anybody could still get promotion to the top flight.
Division 3 is also rather illness-affected (get well soon Mac and Tony). Nigel and Toby are leading but, with less than half the games played, this could change.
It is well worth noting that although two players are strictly promoted and relegated from each division, there are often players dropping out so it is well worth finishing as high as you can to ensure best placement for next season.
So, there is no need to fall in love but other than that, do what Mr Mercury tells you (sorry, its either this or do my company’s books!)
