Nick Collacott’s efficient win over Chris Hill last night secures the Division 2 championship. The other promotion place will be decided next week between Chris, Steve Pike and Michael Joseph with John Harbour acting as potential king maker.
In Division 3, Jeremy Burrows’ defeat of Ben Cox makes him the new favourite for promotion. A draw or better in his last game would confirm this.
I’d like to be the first to congratulate Nick. Blips aside it’s the kind of performance which people will speak of in hushed, reverent tones for years to come.
