British Chess update and O-65 games

Paul reports:-

As no one else is posting any games here are a couple of mine [if anyone wants to send me anything, please do and I will post for you, all insights interesting – Ed]

However, the great news is that Ramsey has made a fantastic start in the U-12. He beat an 1880 on Thursday morning to lead with 4/4 with one other player. Update Friday lunchtime: Ramsey won again this morning to lead alone with 5/5! In Round 6 this afternoon he will play the only player on 4.5. There are four players in the chasing pack on 4, including the top seed Alfred Soulier(1972). The last round on Saturday morning.

If, as is likely, Terry Chapman wins this tournament, there will be an echo of my first ECF (then BCF) Congress exactly 60 years ago when I lost in the U-18 first round to the eventual winner, Peter M Jamieson (SCO), ahead of William R Hartston at Bath 1963.
