In case my last post didn’t give you enough Summer chess, you may like to try the first East Midlands Congress, organised by Joshua who is also the secretary of Rushden Chess Club (I’m sure the first Bedford congress is already in the planning David!).
Joshua has contacted us and says:-
Being clubs relatively close to Wellingborough, I would like to extend an invitation for your members to participate in our first East Midlands Congress.
There will be 5 rounds.
Sections are under 2400, under 1900, under 1700 and under 1000.
The venue is the Hind Hotel Wellingborough.
We are limited to around 80 entrants with 40 spots left.
