We are once again very grateful to the Bedford Times and Citizen and their sports editor Mike Simmonds for their continued support. This weeks edition carries a nice piece about the Cordon Trophy as below and here (page 63). I will continue to feed Mike bits and pieces throughout the season with a view to raising our profile and potentially attracting (even more) new members.
Anyone with any influence in the local media should congratulate Mike on his enlightened attitude regarding chess and ask their sister paper Beds on Sunday why they seem to believe the exact opposite.
